Ahead of the start of the eighth-finals and President’s Cup at the 2019 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship in North Macedonia, a number of changes have been made to the playing squads.

Denmark coach Simon Sorensen has made a double change with captain and centre back Simon Pytlick replaced by Matias Campbell. The Nordsjaelland Handbold left back has played 16 times for his country and scored 52 goals.

The second Danish change sees right back Jon Katballe Christensen come in for centre back Magnus Haubro Jensen. Christensen has scored 33 goals in 15 appearances for the national side and plays his club handball for Aarhus.

HC Smederevo’s right back Milos Blagojevic has replaced left back Stefan Petric in the Serbia squad as they prepare for their President’s Cup campaign. Blagojevic has played four times for his country, scoring once.

Canada have made their third and final change, bringing in left wing Cazy de Chrusley Gaspard for line player Kevin Emeu Ngaleu. Gaspard plays his club handball for Celtique and is yet to make an appearance for Canada.

Norway have made their first change - swapping goalkeepers, with Kristansand's Markus Nilsen coming in for Thomas Kristoffersen Langerud. Nilsen has played 12 times for his nation.

Saudi Arabia have made their third and final change, swapping their back court players with Saja Ossama Alshuwaikhat coming in for Haider Mohammed Al Hassan. Playmaker Alshuwaikhat has scored five goals in three games for his country.
