27 Jan. 2020
Following the conclusion of both the 2020 EHF Men’s European Championship and the 2020 CAHB Men’s African Championship last night (Sunday 26 January), the teams and host nations are now confirmed for all three IHF Tokyo 2020 Men’s Olympic Qualification Tournaments (OQT).
Each OQT will take place over three matchdays: Friday 17 April, Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April 2020. The tournaments will feature four teams each. They will play each other once in a round-robin format with the top two teams in each group qualifying directly through to Tokyo 2020.
The match schedule for every OQT relates to which qualification slot each nation took.
All throw-off times in all three Men’s Olympic Qualification Tournaments are set to be confirmed after consultation between the IHF, local organising committees and marketing/television partners.
