For many years the IHF has supported the growth and development of indoor and beach handball through the Development Aid programme. Through this project, National Federations can submit a request to the IHF for aid in the form of handball materials for both indoor and beach handball to help start or bolster the sport in their country. With IHF suppliers, the program provides balls, goals, court floors as well as coaching, training and refereeing equipment. The goal of Development Aid is to assist National Federations successfully promote and develop handball in their country.
