With experience, Portugal debut at The World Games and look to top five finish

“The Portuguese Handball Federation began participating internationally in beach handball events in 2014, with the national youth teams featuring some leading players on the international scene such as Salvador Salvador, Miguel Martins, Diogo Rema, Francisco Costa, and Martim Costa,” explains Mario Bernardes, National Beach Handball Co-ordinator – Portuguese Handball Federation.

History for Chinese men who aim to showcase the sport to future generations

When China take to the sand on Thursday 7 August to play Tunisia, they will be making history as the first men’s team to represent their country in beach handball at The World Games.
