In close cooperation with the local organizers and the host broadcaster, the International Handball Federation has confirmed the official match schedule for the IHF Super Globe in Doha (25-30 August).

All matches will be played in the Al-Gharafa Arena in Doha, the preliminary round will be carried out from 25 to 27 August. After a rest day (28 August) the semi-finals and placement round will be played on 29 August; the placement matches and the final will then take place on 30 August.

Group A: HSV Hamburg (Germany/Europe), Al-Sadd (Qatar, organizer), El-Jaish (Qatar, wild card participant), Sydney University (Australia, Oceania) Group B: FC Barcelona (Spain, substitute for defending champion Atletico Madrid), Etoile Sportive du Sahel (Tunisia, Africa), Al-Rayyan (Qatar, Asia), Taubate (Brazil, Pan-America)
