Awarding and announcement of the Grundfos World Handball Players of the Year on Sunday

The voting period for the Grundfos World Handball Players of the Year 2013 has come to an end on Tuesday (21 January) – and the secret on which male and female players are the winners will be unveiled in Herning, Denmark on Sunday (26 January), the final day of the European Championship.

IHF President Dr Hassan Moustafa and Grundfos Director of Corporate Brand Development Mr Kim Klastrup will award the Grundfos World Handball Players of the Year 2013 right before the throw-off of the final to be started at 17:30 hrs. local time.

The winners, who were decided by an expert jury, fans and media, will not be announced by the International Handball Federation before.

In the 2012 edition of the voting, Alexandra do Nascimento (BRA) and Daniel Narcisse (FRA) had been the winners. 

For the 2013 edition the following players were nominated:
