The Organising Committee of the Men’s Handball World Championship Qatar 2015 is pleased to announce the start of the online ticket sale for the 24th Men’s Handball World Championship. Tickets for all matches and all stage are available for online sale on the official website:  www.qatarhandball2015.com/tickets

As announced earlier, the World Championship will take place from 15 January to 1 February 2015.  Spectators from all over the world can buy their tickets for the Opening Ceremony and for the first opening match between Qatar and Brazil, which will take place at the brand new Lusail Multi-Purpose Hall. 

Starting with the Preliminary Round, handball sessions for Qatar 2015 will begin on 16 January 2015 and will be played in all 3 venues - Lusail Multi-Purpose Hall, Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiya Arena in Al Saad and Duhail Handball Sport Hall in Duhail.       

For the general public in Qatar, direct ticket sale will commence from the early weeks of the month of December 2014.  Tickets will be on sale at ticket booths at commercial malls - Villaggio, Landmark, City Center and Al Khor.  Qatar University Students will also be treated to a special student offer which will be on sale at Qatar University and Qatar Foundation.

In view of ticket purchase for the Eighth-Finals on 25 January 2015 and Quarter-Finals on 28 January 2015, please be advised that, as stated, the fixtures are still to be announced.  Further announcements for the matches of the Eighth- and Quarter-Finals will be published on the official ticketing site, on www.ihf.info and through local media.  Additionally, since Qatar is the host country, Qatar’s National Team (if qualified) will have the right to play their Eighth-Final and Quarter-Final in the Lusail Multi-Purpose Hall. 

During the event, the Organising Committee of the Men’s Handball World Championship Qatar 2015 has ensured direct sale of tickets through its network of Ticket Box Offices at each venue.
