Squad changes: Norway, Serbia, Egypt make replacements, Sweden up to 16

Player replacements and late registrations – Monday 14 January

Nenad Perunicic has made two replacements to his Serbia squad, bringing in right back Milan Milic and goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev. Metaloplastika’s 1,99m Milic replaces fellow right back Nemanja Zelenovic and has played eight times for his country, scoring 23 times. Shot-stopper Milosavljev, who plays for HC Vardar in FYR Macedonia, replaces goalkeeper Vladimir Cupara. The 22-year-old has played 15 times for his country.

Egypt coach David Davis has also made his first change of Germany/Denmark 2019, bringing in Al Ahly’s left back Omar Hagag for right wing Akram Saad. The 28-year-old Hagag is 1,90m tall and has played 192 times for the North African nation.

Norway coach Christian Berge has brought in 26-year-old pivot Henrik Jacobsen for Petter Overby. Jacobsen, who plays his club 
handball for French club Fenix Toulouse, will wear shirt number nine and is the first change for the Norwegians.

Sweden are also at full strength now with coach Kristjan Andresson adding left wing Hampus Wanne to his squad as a late registration. The 25-year-old plays his club handball for SG Flensburg-Handewitt in Germany and has scored 42 times in 20 national team games.

All 24 teams are now at their full complement of 16 players each, with the exception of the unified team of Korea, who have 20.
