At the end of July, all eyes of the beach handball world will be on Kazan, Russia where overall 32 men's and women's teams will take to the sand at the 2018 Men's and Women's Beach Handball World Championships. 

The four groups of four for the men's and women's competition each will be drawn on 15 May 2018. 

Out of the 32 teams the following are already qualified:

Men’s competition 

ARG, AUS, BRA, CRO, ESP, HUN, IRI, OMA, QAT, RUS, SWE, URU, USA, VIE 

Women's competition

AUS, BRA, DEN, ESP, GRE, MEX, NOR, PAR, POL, RUS, THA, TPE, URU, VIE
