In the logical consequence the Slovenian led with 8:4, 9:5 and 17:14 at halftime. But things changed after the break. The Qatari caught up goal by goal and after really 60 exciting minutes the score changed to 29:29 in the last second of the match, when Musak Alkhalaf scored for Qatar. The winner had to be decided by overtime. But also the first ten minutes extra time didn´t lead to any decision, even though Qatar was leading by two goals in the meantime.
