The Brazilian Handball Federation (CBHb) have recently informed the IHF about their decision of withdrawing from the Mauritius 2017 male and female competitions — which will take place on the African island from 11-16 July and serve as qualification for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.

Both tournaments will now count on 15 teams instead of the original 16. The updated games schedule will be published tomorrow.
