The next phase of ticket sales for German venues at the 26th IHF Men’s World Championship begins on Monday September 24, with places at the arenas in Berlin, Munich, Cologne and Hamburg to be released at 10am local time. To be part of the excitement at the first Men's World Championship hosted by two nations, tickets can be purchased only on the official website handball19.com.
Nations qualified for the 2019 World Championship had exclusive tickets available for their supporters up until September 15. Fans of defending champions France, 2017 World Championship semi-finalists Croatia and Iceland enthusiastically took up this offer, and ticket sales continue to increase in record figures.
With the new release, of particular note is the fact that tickets will be available for matches that were previously marked ‘sold out’ due to the reservations for national team supporters. The opening match between Germany and the Korean team on January 10 in Berlin will be just one of the highlights available to fans once more. In total, up to 15% of tickets for GER/DEN 2019 will become available.
The 26th IHF Men’s World Championship will throw off on January 10 with the opening matches of the host nations and conclude on January 27 with the medal matches in Jyske Bank Boxen, Herning. More information, including the match schedule and tickets, is available on the official website, handball19.com.
