Schedule for quarter-finals, placement round 9-16 and President’s Cup

After the completion of the eighth-finals and the start of the President’s Cup at the Women’s Youth (U18) World Championship in Macedonia on Monday (28 July), all teams which will play the quarter-finals and placement matches 9 – 16 will have a rest day on Tuesday. The competition continues on Wednesday (30 July) with the four quarter-finals and those four matches which start the placement round 9 – 16.  The final placement matches of the President’s Cup - including the final Macedonia vs. Tunisia – take place on Tuesday (29 July).

Korea and Brazil are the only non-European team among those which made it to the round of the best eight teams of the competition, Korea is facing Germany, and Brazil will play against Montenegro. The two remaining quarter-finals are composed only by European teams, where Netherlands will play against Romania and Russia will meet Denmark.

The winners of the quarter-finals proceed to the semi-finals on 1 August, while the losers face in the first matches of the placement round 5 – 8 on the same day (all in Ohrid).

The placement round 9 – 16 already continues on 31 July in Strumica and will be completed with the four placement matches on 2 August.
