Denmark vs. Germany and Montenegro vs. Romania will be the semi-finals of the Women’s Youth (U18) World Championship in FYR Macedonia on Friday in Ohrid. The losers of the quarter-finals will also have a rest day on Thursday and will start the placement round for the positions 5-8 on Friday. Already on Thursday the placement round for the positions 9-16 will continue in Strumica.

Here’s the schedule for the upcoming matches of all stages of the competition:

Semi-finals:

Friday, 1 August in Ohrid:

17:00: Romania – Montenegro

19:30: Germany – Denmark

The winners face on Sunday (17:00) in the final, while the losers compete for the bronze medal before, at 14:30 in Ohrid.

Placement round 5- 8:

Friday, 1 August in Ohrid:

12:15: Netherlands – Brazil

14:45: Korea – Russia

The winners of those matches will meet in the 5/6 placement match on Sunday (12:15), while the losers compete in the 7/8 match at 10:00 on Sunday - both matches will be played in Ohrid.

Placement round 13 - 16:

Thursday, 31 July in Strumica:

13:15: Hungary – Norway

15:30: Japan – France

The winners fight for the positions 13/14, while the losers are part of the placement match 15/16 - both on Saturday (13:15 and 15:30) in Strumica.

Placement round 9 _ 12:

Thursday, 31 July in Strumica:

17:45: Croatia – Argentina

20:00: Portugal – Sweden

The winners fight for the positions 9/10, the losers face for the positions 11/12, both on Saturday (17:45 and 20:00) in Strumica.
