Final, bronze and 5/6, 7/8 Placement Match schedule

With the completion of the semi-finals and the first round of 5-8 Placement Matches of the 2018 IHF Women’s Youth World Championship earlier today, the matches, times and locations for the final, bronze medal (3/4 placement), 5/6 placement and 7/8 placement matches tomorrow have now been confirmed.

All games at Hall Legionow, all times local, all matches will be streamed live on the official Poland 2018 website HERE.

Final
18:00 Hungary vs Russia (Referees: GASMI K / GASMI R - FRA)

Hungary will wear red shirts, red shorts and the goalkeepers will wear black shirts. Russia will wear white shirts, blue shorts and the goalkeepers will wear green shirts.

3/4 Placement Match/Bronze
15:30 Korea vs Sweden (Referees: ALPAIDZE V / BEREZKINA T - RUS)

Both the final and bronze medal match shall be played in accordance with the knock-out system. In case of a draw at the end of the regular playing time, after a break of five (5) minutes, a first overtime period of 2 x 5 minutes shall be played, changing sides halfway through with a one-minute break in-between. Provisions to the contrary set for individual tournaments shall be given priority.

If the match should still not be decided after this overtime period, after a break of five minutes, a second overtime period of 2 x 5 minutes shall be played, changing ends halfway through with a one-minute break in-between.

Should the match still not be decided after the second overtime period, it is decided with 7m penalty throws in accordance with Rule 2:2 of the Rules of the Game.

5/6 Placement Match
13:00 Germany vs Denmark (Referees: BENNANI M / BENNANI S - SWE)

7/8 Placement Match
10:30 Spain vs Netherlands (Referees: ELSAIED H / ELSAIED Y - EGY)

No overtime will be played in the Placement Round 5-8 matches. In case of a draw at the end of the regular playing time, direct 7m penalty throws shall be used in accordance with the IHF regulations.
