The Russian Federation have used the first of their two allotted player replacements at the 2016 IHF Women’s Junior (U20) World Championship on the eve of their semi-final against Germany, bringing in Rostov-Don centre back Natalia Nikitina in place of Anastasia Suslova. 

Nikitina has played four international matches for Russia, with six goals to her name.
