Before the eighth-finals at the V Men’s Youth World Championship on Sunday (18 August), two teams announced a player replacements:
Prior to their match against Spain in Erd, Hungary replaced goalkeeper Miklos Gergö by Mark Hollo.

Also Serbia replaced their player Nikola Vrgovic by Janko Pesic.
