According to the updated Regulations for International and Continental Referees and Regulations for Official IHF Referee Courses, the IHF Playing Rules and Referees Commission has nominated six continental referee couples to officiate in the event. 

Following the IHF Council decision of 4 March 2022, the 2024 IHF Women’s Youth (U18) World Championship in North Macedonia will serve as official IHF Referee Assessment for these continental couples.
