The 2017 IHF Women’s World Championship in Germany is a truly global event with 24 countries from across the world competing for World Championship glory.

For those fans who cannot come and experience the fast-paced action of one of the most popular sports in the world live, there are numerous opportunities to watch and listen to the competition through a variety of television, radio and streaming outlets across the globe.

In a significant development, Germany 2017 will be live on free-to-air television in Germany for the first time in two senior World Championships, through Sport1, and if the host nation reaches the final round, then public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will show the games live.

Other territories added since the previous IHF Women’s World Championship – Denmark 2015 – include Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, New Zealand, Japan and Angola, with the southern African country broadcasting matches through Televisao Publica de Angola.

Host broadcaster beIN Sports have provided free live streaming coverage for countries without TV broadcast, ensuring that wherever fans are in the world there will always be a way of watching live coverage of Germany 2017.
