Germany, Romania and Montenegro squad changes

Host nation coach Michael Biegler has made his second of three player replacements allowed at the 2017 IHF Women's World Championship, bringing in goalkeeper Dinah Eckerle in place of pivot Antje Lauenroth. The 22-year-old Thuringer shot-stopper has played 16 times for her country and scored once.

Romania coach Ambros Martin has made his first replacement, bringing in left back Ibolya-Gabriella Szucs in place of centre back Maria-Madalina Zamfirescu. The 33-year-old Szucs plays her club handball for HC Dunarea Braila and has scored 10 goals in 21 international matches.

Montenegro have made their second replacement of Germany 2017 with pivot Ema Ramusovic coming back into the squad after being replaced on 5 December. The Buducnost player, who has scored 30 goals in 36 matches for her country, replaces goalkeeper Ljubica Nenezic.
