Following the completion of the first day of the President’s Cup/17-24 Placement Matches at the 2017 IHF Women’s World Championship, the match schedule has been announced for the second day.

The President’s Cup final, between Poland and Brazil, throws-off at 14:00 hrs in the Arena Leipzig and after the game has completed a short ceremony will see IHF President Dr. Hassan Moustafa present the cup to the winning team.

President’s Cup: determination of matches
There will be no prolongation in the matches of the Presidents Cup. They will be executed with direct 7m penalty throws in accordance with Rule 2:2 of the Rules of the Game.
