11 Dec. 2020
A number of key speakers and guests will present various lectures this weekend as USA Team Handball (USATH) launches its â1st USATH Handball Development Symposiumâ.
The symposium will take place across two days â 12 to 13 December â and consists of four modules, split into three lectures each.Â
The opening day focuses on the individual player, while the second day focuses on the team. Both days examine the technical skills required for competent play and the means by which to best develop them.
Open to all, but with a focus on handball athletes, coaches and club administrators at all levels, the North American and the Caribbean Handball Confederation (NACHC) member nation are actively encouraging complete beginners and people new to the sport to attend.
The 12 lectures will be delivered in English, via Zoom, from 08:00 PST/11:00 EST-15:00 PST/18:00 EST on both days.
