Barça bring in Gomez for Serdio

Ahead of their semi-final match versus Al Wehda, Barça have made their first player replacement at the 2019 IHF Men’s Super Globe. The defending title holders have brought in 2017 Junior world champion and All-star right wing Aleix Gomez, who replaces line player Abel Serdio. 

Gomez will be a welcome addition for the four-time Super Globe winners – he was the team’s top scorer in the VELUX EHF Champions League last season, with 77 goals, and was joint top scorer (alongside Dika Mem) for Barça in the Spanish league, with 104 goals.
