Following the conclusion of the FINA Congress, Dr Moustafa then turned his attention to the Arab Handball Federation (AHF), following an invitation from AHF President Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Manea, to discuss the further development and promotion of handball in the Arab region on the fringes of the Arab Super Cup on 8 June 2021.

The final was won by Qatar’s Al Shamal SC, with President Moustafa presenting the gold and silver medals and trophy alongside President of Qatar Olympic Committee HE Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani in the awarding ceremony following the match.
