Disciplinary Commission decision

The IHF Disciplinary Commission of the 3rd IHF Men’s Emerging Nations Championship have made two decisions, regarding cases in match number 31, Azerbaijan vs Malta, and match number 33, China vs Nigeria.

The decision for match number 31 concerns Azerbaijan player Uzeir Salimov.

Due to the premeditated and malicious action during the match versus Malta in the 9-12 placement round on Saturday 15 June, the Disciplinary Commission have suspended Salimov for two matches in accordance with Art. 17 point f), of the Regulations concerning Penalties and Fines.

For the case in match number 33, also played on June 15, the disciplinary commission decided to suspend Nigeria player Kingsley Ifenna Okubuike following a premeditated and malicious action. Okubuike is suspended for one match in accordance with Art. 17 point f), of the Regulations concerning Penalties and Fines.

Both decisions could be appealed to the Jury of the Championship.
