The XXXIX Ordinary Congress of the International Handball Federation (IHF) will take place on Thursday, 2 November, the second one to be taking place virtually – by video conference – after the previous Ordinary Congress was the first one to be held by video conference.

Two years ago, the XXXVIII Ordinary IHF Congress held elections for plenty of positions, such as the IHF President, 1st Vice-President, Treasurer and two members of the Executive Committee, as well as the members of the IHF Council and the adjucating bodies of the IHF.

All of the National Member Federations were invited for the XXXIX Ordinary Congress of the IHF, which will see, in its agenda, the President’s Report for the activity of the IHF over the past two years, the financial and auditors’ report, several motions to the IHF Congress, as well as a report on the changes of Rules and Regulations of the game of handball ratified by the IHF Council.

The approval of the budget will also be a point on the agenda, as well as the scheduling of the time and place of the next IHF Congress. The Congress will end with the presentation of the IHF President’s Development Awards and other honours.
