"Whereabouts - A Practical Guide": New ITA Webinar scheduled

The International Testing Agency (ITA) continues its series of webinars dedicated to provide athletes with practical guidance and advice to give confidence and to fulfil all responsibilities regarding anti-doping measures.

The latest instalment in the series will take place on Wednesday, 30 August, between 14:00 and 15:00 CEST, with a practical guide for athletes regarding whereabouts – with the athletes required to provide complete and accurate whereabouts information for each day of the quarter.

"Research has shown that fulfilling Whereabouts responsibilities can be a source of anxiety for athletes who are in a testing pool. Therefore, our August monthly webinar aims to provide you with practical guidance and advice to give you confidence to fulfil your responsibilities," says the ITA.

One of the panellists of the webinar is Krisztina Bedocs, a three-time European Champion and a five-time world championsh in Kayaking, who has been included in a testing pool for many years. She will share her first-hand experience and tips for other athletes.

The second expert panellist joining the webinar is Kate Hovrjaka, an ITA Athlete Support Officer, who will present case scenarios based on common situations faced by athletes and provide practical guidance.

This webinar will be highly interactive, as the previous ones, with the participants being able to ask questions and share their thoughts at the end of the presentations shared by the panellists.

All of the ITA webinars are conducted in English with simultaneous translation to Arabic, French, Spanish and Russian.
