UPDATE: Registration for 2023 IHF Beach Handball Education Week open

Registration is now open for the first course featured in the 2023 IHF Education Weeks, the IHF Beach Handball Education Week, starting on 15 May and running through to 21 May. The 2023 IHF Education Weeks, which are presented by the IHF Virtual Academy under the umbrella of the IHF Education Centre, will include six different courses over the coming months and conclude in October. 

The 2023 IHF Beach Handball Education Week will feature a total of eight live-streamed lectures presented by beach handball experts from around the world. The focus of the lectures will be on different coaching and refereeing topics. 

All lectures will be streamed on Zoom and the IHF Facebook page, starting at 13:00 CEST each day of the Week. The lectures are free to attend but participants who register for and attend all lectures on Zoom will receive participation certificates after the conclusion of the Beach Handball Education Week.

About the 2023 IHF Education Weeks

After the 2023 IHF Education Weeks open with the IHF Beach Handball Education Week, another five courses will follow:

  • Coaches and Referees Education Week: 10-16 June 2023
  • Children’s Handball Education Week: 4-10 September 2023
  • Youth Coaches Education Week: 18-24 September 2023
  • Management Education Course: 2-5 October 2023
  • Wheelchair Handball Education Courses: 6-8 October 2023

All courses are presented by the IHF Virtual Academy, which was launched in 2020 with the goal of improving handball education globally. Courses are provided for free and are designed for all levels. More educational materials are available on the IHF Education Centre, and all previous Virtual Academy lectures can be accessed on the IHF Facebook page under the relevant playlists.
