Player replacement for Ireland

Ireland made their first of three available player replacements before their last game at the 3rd IHF Emerging Nations Championship in Georgia, bringing in goalkeeper Anthony Tomas for fellow keeper Pontus Bonaguidi. It will be Tomas' first international match.

Ahead of their final preliminary round match at the 3rd IHF Emerging Nations Championship, Ireland made a late registration. With Sean D’Arcy joining the line-up, Ireland now count 13 players on their start list.

D’Arcy has played three international matches and scored six goals for Ireland.

Ireland will meet Malta in their round five Group B match at 16:00 local time in Tbilisi.
