Following the conclusion of three of the quarter-finals in the men’s handball competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the schedule for the two semi-finals is now set.

The first two quarter-finals on Wednesday saw Spain and Germany emerge victorious after extra-time against Egypt and France respectively, after superb comebacks in the last seconds of regular time. Denmark also sealed a hard-fought win against Sweden, to make the semi-finals of the Olympics for the third edition in a row, after Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. The quartet was completed by Slovenia, which took a 33:28 win over Norway in the last quarter-final.

Both the men’s and the women’s semi-finals in the handball competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place in the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille. The women’s competition will see the semi-finals played on Thursday, 8 August, while in the men’s competition, the semi-finals are scheduled on 9 August.
