Following the conclusion of the preliminary round of the women’s handball competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the four quarter-finals are now set.

In Group A, the four teams qualify, in the order of the final standings, were Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany.

In Group B, the team securing their quarter-finals berths are, in the order of the final standings, France, the Netherlands, Hungary and Brazil.

According to the official rules of the Paris 2024 handball competitions, the teams winning their group will face the fourth-placed side in the other group, while the teams placing second are due to meet the teams which finished on the third place.

Both the men’s and the women’s handball competition will move from the South Paris Arena 6, where the preliminary round took place, to the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille. The women’s competition will have the quarter-finals take place on Tuesday, 6 August, while the men’s competition is due to take place on Wednesday, 7 August.
