The USA have added a late registration to their line-up, with 19-year-old Paul Skorupa joining the start list as of Monday 10 June. Line player Skorupa is late to join the team as he had the last match of the season with his club HC Rhine Vikings, in the second German Bundesliga, on Saturday. Skorupa scored 32 goals for Vikings in the 2018/19 season. 

The USA will meet Malta in their round three clash at the 3rd IHF Emerging Nations Championship at 16:00 local time in Tbilisi, Georgia. The team are currently third ranked in Group B, on two points following one win, versus Ireland.
