ITA and IHF unite for Clean Sport Education webinar for coaches
28 May. 2026
The International Handball Federation (IHF) and the International Testing Agency (ITA) are set to host the latest edition of their Clean Sport Education Webinar series, bringing together coaches from across the handball world for a dedicated session on anti-doping responsibilities and integrity in sport.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 10 June, from 14:00 CEST, and will focus on a theme that directly affects every coach involved in the sport: the duty to educate athletes about clean sport.
As trusted figures in an athlete's life, coaches play a decisive role in shaping values and behaviours both on and off the court. Athletes rely on their entourage for reliable information and guidance, making it essential for coaches to have a thorough understanding of anti-doping rules and how to build a culture of integrity within their teams.
This webinar will outline the key roles and responsibilities of coaches, and offer practical advice on how to support athletes, protect themselves and serve as role models for clean sport.
The session will be joined by Monique Tijsterman, the head coach of the Austria women's senior national team, who will share her experience and perspective on fostering clean sport values at the highest level of the game.
The webinar will be highly interactive, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts during a live Q&A at the end of the presentations. The session will be delivered in English, with automated translated captions available in Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian, and all attendees will receive a PDF of the webinar presentation, including links to all resources covered.
Spaces are open for registration. Click here to secure your place and join the IHF and ITA in the shared commitment to Keep Sport Real.
