How to watch the draw for the 2027 IHF Men’s World Championship

32 teams will learn their fate on Wednesday, 10 June, as they embark on the road to the 30th IHF Men’s World Championship in Germany. The preliminary round draw for the men’s flagship event will be held in Munich at 18:00 CEST, setting the stage for the tournament that will be played from 13 to 31 January 2027.
Handball fans around the world will be able to follow the draw free of charge on the official YouTube channel of the International Handball Federation. The event will be streamed live, with full coverage of the draw.
In addition, the draw will be broadcast on television in numerous countries and territories worldwide, with rights-holding partners providing live coverage in their respective regions.

The draw will be conducted by the Chairperson of the Commission of Organising and Competition, Pascal Jenny, together with former Germany international Anja Althaus, one of the official ambassadors for Germany 2027.
