Five ITA webinars to deliver crucial anti-doping information

A new series of webinars hosted by the International Testing Agency (ITA), which will take place every Tuesday from 7 November to 5 December, are ready to deliver crucial informations about the anti-doping fight and offer insights into how to best avoid contact with banned substances..
As part of the commitment to fight against doping in handball, the International Handball Federation is inviting the handball communities around the world to attend these five webinars, which will take place between 14:00 and 15:00 CET and will be moderated by either anti-doping specialists, or former olympians.
These interactive one-hour webinars are designed to guide, educate, and inform our handball communities on anti-doping rules and their anti-doping rights and responsibilities.
The webinars will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation being available in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish.
Those who attend all five sessions successfully will receive a certificate from the ITA.
The schedule of the webinar series are as follows:
- Tuesday, 7 November, 14:00-15:00 CET: Introduction to anti-doping. Overview of the system, rights and obligations, ADRVs. Register here
- Tuesday, 14 November, 14:00-15:00 CET: The doping control procedure. Including testing procedures (urine and blood) and ABP. Register here
- Tuesday, 21 November, 14:00-15:00 CET: Medicines, food supplements, doping list and TUEs. Including the principle of strict liability. Register here.
- Tuesday, 28 November, 14:00-15:00 CET: Principles and values of clean sport. Including sanctions, consequences and awareness. Register here
- Tuesday, 5 December, 14:00-15:00 CET: Out-of-competition doping controls. Includes requirements of RTP/TP, whereabouts, use of ADAMS. Register here.
