Coach Dueñas to deliver free online global course for Brazilian Handball Confederation

The Brazilian Handball Confederation (Confederaçao Brasileira de Handebol) is hosting a free online international handball course led by Brazil women’s national team coach Jorge Dueñas De Galarza.
Starting on Tuesday 16 June, the course is divided into six modules across six days with all modules starting at 16:30 (Brasilia time).
Dueñas, who is also an IHF Commission of Coaching and Methods (CCM) Lecturer, will be presenting on the following topics:
Tuesday 16 June Module 1: Offensive Game Model – Brazil women's national team
Thursday 18 June Module 2: Defending the Line Player
Tuesday 23 June Module 3: The Counter-attack
Thursday 25 June Module 4: Defensive Return
Tuesday 30 June Module 5: Individual Tactical Goalkeeper Techniques (with the participation of Professor Juan Carlos Aberasturi – goalkeeping coach for Brazilian women’s national team)
Thursday 2 July Module 6: Individual Line Player Tactical Technique

Having coached the Brazilian women since 2017, Dueñas confirmed their spot at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with gold won at the 2019 Pan American Games, held in Lima, Peru.
Before his time in Brazil, Dueñas won bronze with the Spain national women’s team at the London 2012 Olympic Games, bronze at the 2011 IHF Women’s World Championship and silver at the 2008 EHF European Championship.
