Following the conclusion of the main round of the 2026 IHF Women’s Youth World Championship, only eight teams are still in the hunt for the trophy.

The quarter-finals will be played in Pitești Arena and in the Sala Sporturilor Mioveni at 16:00 EEST and 18:30 EEST, with the first quarter-finals opposing Egypt and People's Republic of China, and Spain and Switzerland respectively.

The other quarter-finals will be played at 18:30, with Hungary vs Denmark being played in Pitești and Slovakia vs Montenegro in Mioveni.

The card will be full with Placement Matches, played in all four venues in Romania, with the final standings shaping up aftere these matches.
