Following the conclusion of the preliminary round of the 2024 IHF Men’s Club World Championship, the two semi-finals of the competition have been determined, with the top teams in each group, plus the best second-placed team securing their places in the penultimate act.

According to the Rules and Regulations of the competition, the best winner of the groups, SC Magdeburg, will face Al-Ahly, the team that were the best second-placed side, while the other two group winners, FC Barcelona and Veszprem HC, face off in the other semi-final.

The semi-final between Barcelona and Veszprem is scheduled for Tuesday, 1 October, at 17:00 EEST, while the match between Magdeburg and Al-Ahly, which will decide the second finalist, will be played at 20:00 EEST, in the New Administrative Capital Hall.

Other five placement matches are scheduled for the last three days of the competition, where Khaleej Club, Handebol Taubate, the California Eagles, Zamalek SC and Sydney Uni will decide their final standings at the 2024 IHF Men’s Club World Championship.
