Three European sides, two teams from Africa and one each from Asia, Oceania, the South and Central American Handball Confederation and the North America and Caribbean Handball Confederation each are lining up at the 2024 IHF Men's Club World Championship, with the competition boasting a nine-team line-up for its return in Egypt after 17 years.

Powerhouses like SC Magdeburg and Barça, as well as Veszprem HC, will be lining up at the start, while other challengers are ready to pounce. Barça are the most decorated team in the history of the competition, with five titles, while Magdeburg are coming with a fantastic streak, winning the last three editions of the competition.
