2023 IHF Education Weeks return in September with Children's Education Week
01 Sep. 2023

A packed week, full of insightful webinars is due to start on Monday 4 September, at the 2023 IHF Children's Handball Education Week, held under the umbrella of the IHF Virtual Academy, launched in 2020.
Specialists from all around the world will share their knowledge and best practices into the developing of children's handball, with seven presentations held online, with plenty of information for all the interesting parties. The themes of the webinars will vary from the differences between teaching and coaching, the creation of alternative training materials, to how to best involve teachers, coaches and parents in handball, creating the perfect environment for children to enjoy handball and become better players and persons in the future.
All participants who register for and attend all webinars live via Zoom will receive a participation certificate. For this purpose, please make sure to use a valid email address for registration, as this address will be used for sending out the certificates.
The lectures are live streamed on Zoom and on the IHF Facebook page and are presented in English with live translation options for French, Spanish and Arabic. All lectures will take place from 13:00 to 14:30 CEST. Everybody who attends all courses will receive a certificate via email.Â

About the 2023 IHF Education Weeks
The two September courses follow the previously held Beach Handball Education Week and Coaches and Referees Education Week, which took place in May and June. Following the September programmes will be two more to conclude the 2023 IHF Education Weeks: Management Education Courses (2 to 5 October) and Wheelchair Handball Education Courses (6 to 8 October).Â
The 2023 IHF Education Weeks come after eight extensive courses held in 2020 and 2021, which followed the launching of the IHF Virtual Academy at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of the IHF Virtual Academy is to aid the development of handball around the world through the provision of free, live-streamed courses designed for every level, from the top through to grassroots.Â
