The European Youth Olympic Festival 2023 was held in Maribor, Slovenia from 23 to 29 July 2023. The multi-sport event featured men’s and women’s handball competitions, which take place from 24 to 29 July. Germany celebrated the men's title, while France topped the podium in the women's competition.
