In 2022, the International Handball Federation launched the long-awaited Beach Handball Global Tour, the start of which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The first stage of the 2023 edition of the event took place in Brazil, the second stage was staged in Tunisia and the third stage of this year's edition took place in Poland. On 3–4 November, the Finals of the event were staged in Doha, Qatar.
