The 2022 South and Central American Men's Championship took place in Recife, Brazil from 25 to 29 January. It was the second edition of the event after the first Men's South and Central American Championship organised in Maringá, Brazil.

Seven teams took to the court in Recife, with the preliminary round being played in two groups, one of four teams and one of three. The two first-ranked teams of each group after the preliminary round progressed to the semi-finals.

Group B: Brazil (BRA), Chile (CHI), Paraguay (PAR), Costa Rica (CRC)

The event served as qualification event for the 2023 IHF Men's World Championship in Poland and Sweden, with Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay qualifying.
