After only 17 minutes the result was double-figured at 14:4 and Hungary kept the clear margin until the end. Luka Szekerczes was the key for the clear opening lead with five of her overall seven goals in the first 20 minutes. From minute 35 to 48 Croatia had their best period, reducing the gap from 13 to nine goals, but could not endanger Hungary in any way despite the 11 goals of Camila Micijevic.

Paraguay – Sweden 19:29 (12:18)

After a thriller against Croatia on the opening day, the girls from Sweden took an easy-earned and clear win against Paraguay. Like the match before, everything was decided at the break, when the margin was six goals. But it took until minute 47, when the margin was ten goals for the first time at 27:17 for the Scandinavians, for which all field players scored – but the top scorer was Ana Launa Acura with seven goals for Paraguay.
