Two teams playing their quarter-finals today (23 January) in Barcelona changed their squads: In the Danish team, facing Hungary in the round of the last eight teams, line player Jesper Nøddesbo (playing for FC Barcelona) is back in the team, replacing Mads Mensah Larsen. Slovenia has to replace their current top scorer Dragan Gajic due to injury by Peter Pucelj (playing for Gorenje Velenje) before their quarter-final against Russia.
