The 2023 Pan American Games will be held in Santiago, Chile from 20 October to 5 November 2023. The multi-sport event features men's and women's handball competitions, with the tournaments serving as Qualification event for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The handball competitions are scheduled for 24 October–4 November. The women's category will take place from 24 to 29 October, while the men's category will be staged from 30 October to 4 November.
