In 2025, wheelchair handball will reach a new milestone with the inaugural EHF European Wheelchair Handball Championship (four-a-side) taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 26 to 30 November.

The event serves as qualification event for the 2026 IHF Wheelchair Handball World Championship.
