BlÄklÀder Workwear announced as Official Partner of the IHF World Championship

The International Handball Federation (IHF) is proud to announce today a new multi-year partnership with BlÄklÀder Workwear, one of the world's largest manufacturers of workwear.

BlÄklÀder Workwear will be the new Official Partner of the IHF World Championship, both in the men's and women's tournaments, after having already received maximised exposure as a sponsor at the 2019 IHF Men's World Championship in Germany and Denmark.

During the first competition under the partnership, the 28th IHF Men's World Championship in Poland and Sweden, which will span between 11 and 29 January 2023, BlÄklÀder Workwear will receive a comprehensive rights package. It consists of the naming right as the official partner, various logo presences in all media-relevant areas and on the handball field and further activation possibilities in all nine venues in Poland and Sweden.

"The IHF World Championship editions have proven to be a unique opportunity to activate our brand in a venue where many of our customers already are. Handball is an honest, fun, and intense sport with a growing global community, and we are therefore very proud to have entered this close partnership with the international organisation behind the sport", says Kalle Larsson, BlÄklÀder's Global Marketing Manager.

BlĂ„klĂ€der owns 19 business units in multiple countries over two continents – Europe and North America. The Swedish company is also the largest workwear brand in Scandinavia and one of the world's largest manufacturers of responsibly produced workwear in its socially conscious factories in Myanmar and Sri Lanka.

"The IHF is proud to welcome Swedish workwear company BlÄklÀder to the 28th IHF Men's World Championship family. By joining us once again, BlÄklÀder prove their trust in handball, as we hope to build a fruitful, long-lasting partnership in collaboration with IHF TV and Marketing Rights Partner Sportfive. We are certain that handball fans will identify our common penchant for quality and 'stick together'," said Dr Hassan Moustafa, the President of the IHF.
