Nocco joins forces with IHF for 2023 IHF World Championships

The International Handball Federation (IHF) is proud to announce NOCCO as an official sponsor of the 28th IHF Men's World Championship, in Poland and Sweden and the 26th IHF Women's World Championship, to be co-hosted by Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

IHF President Dr Hassan Moustafa says: "On behalf of the International Handball Federation, I am proud to announce that we have partnered up with NOCCO for our flagship events in 2023, the IHF Men's and Women's World Championships, thanks to our partnership with the official IHF TV and Marketing Rights Partner SPORTFIVE. We strongly believe that NOCCO is tailor-made to be the official IHF event partner for next year's events as it was born in Sweden – co-host of both World Championships – and has grown all around the world, while concurrently supporting numerous handball players. This commitment to handball will assist us in expanding and achieving our goal to further develop and grow the sport worldwide."

NOCCO is a beverage with BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) and vitamins, developed in Sweden. NOCCO launched its first product in December 2014 and is today available in more than 30 markets. All NOCCO products are carbonated, sugar-free and low-calorie.

The different flavours – such as peach, tropical, apple, blood orange, Miami strawberry, limon del sol or Caribbean – make NOCCO the perfect on-the-go sparkling and refreshing sugar free, gluten-free, non-GMO beverage.

The NOCCO products also contain 50% of the daily value of biotin, niacin, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12. One can of NOCCO contains four different types of Vitamin B: niacin, biotin, B6 and B12. Niacin, B6 and B12 all help support energy and overall well-being. Biotin and Vitamin B12 also help support a healthy metabolism.

The brand will benefit from increased brand awareness around the globe with an improved presence throughout all competition advertising and promotion, and at the 108 matches set to be played at the 32-team competition.

This presence will be seen by those inside the arenas and those watching through the worldwide broadcast. It includes, amongst others, the LED system around the court, board advertising and arena TV cubes.

NOCCO have been involved with sports for a long time, having well-known ambassadors, such as Premier League and Denmark star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, NBA star, DeAndre Ayton, who features for the Phoenix Suns or the NFL defensive rookie of the Year, Micah Parsons, from the Dallas Cowboys.

Jessica Linder, Head of Marketing, International Markets, at NOCCO, says: "At NOCCO, we've had a strong commitment to supporting handball for several years. It's a tough and fast-paced sport that demands vigorous, dedicated, and hardworking players, reflecting the values NOCCO stands for. We are very proud to support both the Men's and Women's World Championships, which take place in some of our strongest markets."

Robert Müller von Vultejus, Chief Growth Officer at SPORTFIVE, adds: "NOCCO and handball are a perfect match. The IHF Men's and Women's World Championships offer NOCCO an authentic and wide-reaching marketing platform for the national and global market and provide a good opportunity to interact with fans on site and online."
