Poland 2025: All-Star team revealed

Following the conclusion of the 2025 IHF Men’s Junior World Championship, where Denmark became the new world champions, with a 29:26 win in the final over Portugal, the All-Star team has been announced.

Five nations are represented in the All-Star team, with all the teams placed on the podium being represented, as well as the fourth-placed side, Sweden, and the sixth-placed team, Egypt. 

Winners Denmark have two players – right wing Magnus Pedersen and right back Nikolaj Larsson – in the squad, with finalists Portugal also boasting goalkeeper Diogo Rema Marques and left back Joao Lourenco.

Sweden have two players in the All-Star team, centre back Axel MĂĄnsson and left wing Noah Martinsson, while Egypt delivered the best line player, Moaz Azab.

The MVP of the competition was Faroe Islands’ centre back, Óli Mittún. The diminutive centre back was the top scorer of the competition, with 73 goals, three more than Sweden’s Axel Månsson. Mittún was also the top assists provider at Poland 2025, with 54 assists.

This is the second top scorer award won by Mittún at a World Championship, after having previously secured the top goal scorer award at the 2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship.
